So here at the Whissel Realty Group, it's lights, camera, action, When we list your home onto the market. Very similar to how Hollywood launches a movie into the big screen. See, they don't just pick a day and say, "Alright, today's a good day to launch the movie. Let's go." There's a lot of preparation, and excitement, and build up to that movie launching in the theaters.
And that's what we do here at Whissel Realty. So come along with me, as I show you a little bit of what we do to create that excitement. So on day one, we're going to have our in-house media marketing team come in and take beautiful pictures of your home. This is very important because in this day and age, most people are just swiping, looking on their phone at the next home that they're going to buy. So it's very important for that first picture just to grab their attention so then they can look further in and find out all the wonderful details of your home.
On day two, we're going to do something that is relatively unique, which is we're going to film a 3D tour of your home. This is very important in this day and age because not only do we want to capture the attention of the buyers here in San Diego, but perhaps they're in a different city, different state or even a different country. This way, no matter where they are in the world, they can take a tour of your home. The other thing that's important with that is it alleviates the looky-loos. People can come and take a preview of your home and get the feel for what the kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathrooms are before they even come. That way, by the time they show up to take the real tour, we know that these are serious buyers that are interested in your home. In addition to the 3D tour, we provide a floor plan of your home.
This is very unique for a resale home. A lot of the times when you go to look at a new build, they always have a floor plan, but it's very rare that we see a floor plan for a resale home. This is important because when people are looking online, they want to see where the bedrooms are compared to the kitchen, compared to the family room. Possibly they have children that they want to make sure that their bedrooms are close to theirs. So this will give them an idea of what the floor plan of your home looks like before even coming taking a tour. On day three, this is when we do our direct mail marketing campaign. This is a very, very important part of the whole launch because sometimes your best marketers are your neighbors in the neighborhood.
Now, this is very important, 'cause possibly there's neighbors in your neighborhood who are renting home, who've already fallen in love with the neighborhood, and they would love to own a piece of it just as you have for all these years. In addition to the renters in the neighborhood, you also have your neighbors who have owned their homes for five, 10, maybe 20 years. And they are our best marketers out there. Because what they're going to do is tell all their friends that a new home just got listed on the market in the neighborhood. And possibly they want to come by and check it out and be a part of the neighborhood as well. So on day four, this is when things get really exciting.
This is when we launch your Coming Soon campaign. And what this does is we have a proprietary technology that will notify all of the agents within our brokerage, which was named number one brokerage in all of San Diego County, that your home is soon to be coming to the market. This is important because a lot of the times buyers will actually pay a premium to get in and be the first one to offer on your home. They don't want to find themselves within a bidding war so they're willing to possibly give you exactly what you've asked for, maybe more, at the terms that you're looking for. And this will also skip out on a lot of the showings and everything that go along with it. On day five is when we put the sign out in your front yard. Now, this isn't just any for sale sign with my phone number on it. This number will actually go to our team of concierges that 24/7 will answer that phone call.
This is very important because we can't afford to miss any opportunity for somebody calling in looking for information on your home. Therefore, right now, while I'm shooting a video or maybe I'm out to dinner with family, somebody is guaranteed to answer that phone call. In addition to the phone number, we have a QR code on our signs. Now, everybody's starting to get very familiar with these QR codes. So what will happen is as they're walking by and they see your home, and they're interested in more information, they'll scan that QR code and pop up on their phone all the information for your home. What's actually more important about this is it'll send a notification to our concierge team to follow up with that potential buyer. We want to make sure that we reach out to them and see if all their questions were answered and possibly schedule a tour with them to come and see the inside of your home.
On day six, this is the day that we've all been waiting for. This is the day that we're actually going to launch your home on the MLS. Now, we don't just pick a random Monday or Tuesday to do this. We look into the data, and the data has told us that most people are shopping for their home online on Thursday or Friday. And they're actually doing this between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. So what we like to do is make sure that we list your home possibly on a Wednesday or a Thursday to make sure that we're on the top of the list when they're searching for homes.
This will syndicate out to all the major websites that people shop for homes: Zillow, Trulia, realtor.com. So when they're looking at homes on that Thursday or Friday, they're making sure to see yours which is at the top of the list. Alright, day seven. Now we're off and running. And this is when we launch the social media target marketing campaign. Now what this is, is we use data to see what type of buyer would be interested in your home. Possibly that's a first-time home buyer, a military family, an empty nester, an investor. So we don't want to use what is called a shotgun approach which is just send some information out there and hope that it gets to the right person.
We use more of a sniper approach where we identify the particular buyer for your home and we target them. So as you can see in only seven days we launch your property very similar to the way Hollywood launches their movies on the big screen. And this is important because it's going to maximize the amount of eyes on your home to get you the highest price and the best terms on your home. So let's get the reel going on your home today.
