This is my first home buying experience so I don’t have much of a baseline but Alex was very knowledgeable of the process and if he didn’t know the answer he would find out. I stopped by a house Billie was showing while on a walk. I stopped by and told Billie a bit about myself and situation. At this point, I had never talked to a realtor about a potential home. Billie asked if anyone had ever sat with me just to help out. I told her no and she offered to sit down with me and my partner just to see where we were and how she could help. We found out there were programs out there that could help young couples who were just starting out in the housing market. We knew nothing about these programs or where to start. Now we are on our way to building our credit up and putting a plan in place for a home in the near future. Billie has been there every step of the way and has shown us that she will be there even if it takes awhile. I wouldn’t choose anyone else to be helping me! Bob is a professional realtor with excellent knowledge of the current local market. He made an excellent presentation of the advantages he and his office would bring to the sale of my property, and tailored his sales pitch to meet my needs for this sale. He hosted one open house and brought me three competitive offers for full price. He was readily available to answer questions and handle glitches that came up during the transaction, of which there were a few because the property was purchased by a nervous first-time buyer.
Bob David worked really hard and knows the laws and also did what I asked. I was initially concerned about a relatively new company but at the first open house he got 59 viewers so my concer s were unwarranted. Excellent job

Bryan Mancuso and Whissel Realty were absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire house hunting and escrow process. Prior to meeting Bryan and the other members of Whissel Realty, I first started my home search with a different real estate agent. This real estate agent was a friend of friend so I thought I was in good hands. However, as the search continued, I couldn’t be more wrong. I would often not hear from them and had to do a lot of the research on properties by myself. Being first time home buyer this was extremely frustrating because I was behind the curve and missed a lot of opportunities when it came to potentially great homes. I went to an open house in which Bryan was showing. Bryan talked to me for about an hour or so. During the course of our conversation Bryan was extremely knowledgeable about today's housing market and his experience in real estate clearly showed. Bryan took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me new insight into the world of real estate. I gave Bryan my contact information and proceeded about my day. I could tell Bryan knew that I was serious about buying a property and saw how frustrated I was about missed opportunities. Bryan called me a couple of days after meeting him at the open house. Elizabeth took care of our transaction from start to finish and stayed engaged all throughout the process. This was a short-fused deal that closed in 15 calendar days, being in the industry on the origination side for almost 3 decades. I was waiting for a notification upon recordation, I had to email my broker and my escrow for status (being in the industry, I'm quite familiar with the drill), to confirm recordation before the close of business day. It would have been nice to share the excitement at that moment that it recorded. I have that expectation because when active in the industry, I personally call my clients to congratulate them of the recordation the very moment I was notified of the recordation! Otherwise, Kudos to Elizabeth for a job well-done and keeping me engaged throughout the process. TC needs a little improvement on timing and updates by adding some proactivity instead of reactivity, although she stayed engaged throughout the process. This is a constructive review.

Coordinating home viewings for over a month, he first showed us a few homes for viewing purposes only, just to dip our toes in the water. A few weeks later showed us 9 homes over the course of 2 days around SD all the way up to Oceanside; until we decided the beginning of our new start in Vista!
With all of Whissel's email communication and the escrow process steps broken down with videos explaining the process; we found that it was helpful and straight forward. Flemin was extremely patient with us, professional, down to earth, knowledgeable about the buying climate and the areas around SD, and was great about answering all of our questions.
During the escrow process, which was also during Christmas and New Year; Flemin went out of the country for the holidays. He set us up with his colleague Jacob Carmona from Whissel who was present with us during the home inspection. We felt comfortable with this transition since he was professional, up to date on our escrow time frame, and knew what needed to be done on inspection day.
Flemin has kept in touch with us after our close checking in to make sure we are doing well, and updated us about utilizing Whissel's moving truck which we may take advantage of!
