This is Clayton Connolly, your real estate captain speaking, and that little song is called, "It's A Buyer's Market". Now, what does that mean? Check it out. At the beginning of 2022, it was a seller's market. What does that mean?

That means it's good for the sellers. That means there's a plethora of buyers waiting to buy homes, competing against each other, overpaying on appraisal price, and the competition is very stiff. Great for sellers. For a long time during our sellers market, I heard out on the street, "Clayton, when is it going to turn into a buyer's market? When do the buyers get a fair shake at this?" Well check it out. We're in a buyer's market right now. Who's that good for?

Buyers. What does that mean? It's a good time to buy a house. Now, there's some economic conditions, like higher interest rates and a lot of media noise and chatter that's keeping buyers on the fence. Now, the buyers that want to take advantage of this opportunity are hopping in right now, and guess what? They get to choose the house. They don't have to compete against half of the market for their home.

That's why I'm encouraging, if you were one of those 11 out of 12 people that didn't get your offer accepted, and you're still wanting a home, and you're still not wanting to pay, you know, high rent, now is an amazing time to get together to put a plan while we still have this window of opportunity in San Diego. San Diego's not going out of style, it will shift back into a market where we'll probably see another feeding frenzy on houses.
