Bryan Mancuso and Whissel Realty were absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire house hunting and escrow process. Prior to meeting Bryan and the other members of Whissel Realty, I first started my home search with a different real estate agent. This real estate agent was a friend of friend so I thought I was in good hands. However, as the search continued, I couldn’t be more wrong. I would often not hear from them and had to do a lot of the research on properties by myself. Being first time home buyer this was extremely frustrating because I was behind the curve and missed a lot of opportunities when it came to potentially great homes. I went to an open house in which Bryan was showing. Bryan talked to me for about an hour or so. During the course of our conversation Bryan was extremely knowledgeable about today's housing market and his experience in real estate clearly showed. This house was the first one that we had submitted an offer on. Unfortunately our offer was not accepted and the sellers chose to start the escrow process with another buyer. I was extremely disappointed but Bryan did not give up. Bryan continued to follow up regarding this specific property and give me updates regarding the current status along the way. After doing his research, Bryan informed me that the first buyer of my dream property had actually fallen through with their funding and the property was mine if I still wanted it. Without hesitation I said of course I wanted the property and the escrow process had begun. Throughout the entire process Bryan constantly kept me informed and took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thanks to Bryan and the rest of the Whissel Realty team, not once during the entire homing buying process did I feel stressed out or overwhelmed. In closing, being both a veteran and a Law Enforcement Officer, I constantly get lied to on a day to day basis. The last thing you want to experience is getting lied to or manipulated when it comes to your personal affairs. Whissel Realty was extremely open, honest and transparent during this entire process. Normally, I would not even bother to take the time to write a review but I complied to write one as it’s the least I can for Bryan and the rest of Whissel Realty for all of their hard work and dedication in finding me my first home. People are really doing themselves a disservice if they choose to go with any other real estate company besides Whissle Realty. Elizabeth took care of our transaction from start to finish and stayed engaged all throughout the process. This was a short-fused deal that closed in 15 calendar days, being in the industry on the origination side for almost 3 decades. I was waiting for a notification upon recordation, I had to email my broker and my escrow for status (being in the industry, I'm quite familiar with the drill), to confirm recordation before the close of business day. It would have been nice to share the excitement at that moment that it recorded. I have that expectation because when active in the industry, I personally call my clients to congratulate them of the recordation the very moment I was notified of the recordation! Otherwise, Kudos to Elizabeth for a job well-done and keeping me engaged throughout the process. TC needs a little improvement on timing and updates by adding some proactivity instead of reactivity, although she stayed engaged throughout the process. This is a constructive review.

I can share how grateful I am to have met Evan Wagley from Whissel Realty Group. My husband and I originally put feelers out for a possible cash offer on his mother's home who had recently passed. All the cash offer vultures came out in flocks, offer a pittance and want to reap all the rewards. Evan contacted me and shared that he specializes in working with individuals just like us that represent a Trust. He provided a brief explanation of how he could help and simply said call if me you want to pursue. The home was my mother-n-laws and everything was not going well with the 17 beneficiaries so we thought a cash offer might be best to just to close the trust. Coordinating home viewings for over a month, he first showed us a few homes for viewing purposes only, just to dip our toes in the water. A few weeks later showed us 9 homes over the course of 2 days around SD all the way up to Oceanside; until we decided the beginning of our new start in Vista!
With all of Whissel's email communication and the escrow process steps broken down with videos explaining the process; we found that it was helpful and straight forward. Flemin was extremely patient with us, professional, down to earth, knowledgeable about the buying climate and the areas around SD, and was great about answering all of our questions.
During the escrow process, which was also during Christmas and New Year; Flemin went out of the country for the holidays. He set us up with his colleague Jacob Carmona from Whissel who was present with us during the home inspection. We felt comfortable with this transition since he was professional, up to date on our escrow time frame, and knew what needed to be done on inspection day.
Flemin has kept in touch with us after our close checking in to make sure we are doing well, and updated us about utilizing Whissel's moving truck which we may take advantage of!

Also, I don’t think he ever took more than 30 minutes TOPS to reply to a question we had even if it was the weekend or nighttime…. Gautier knew all this going in. It took us nearly 5 months, and we dragged Gautier to just about every home in the area. He was fantastic throughout the process. Patient, upbeat, available, and always prepared. We peppered Gautier with questions about homes and areas at each house we saw. Usually he knew the answer, but when he didn't, he always got us an answer.

I purchased a home in Scripps Ranch Poway area and had a good experience working with J.C. Agajanian. I found the property while browsing listings but J.C. was still really helpful. He was very responsive and quickly got me access to view the home which was super helpful since the property was in high demand and was going to sell fast. As I first time home owner I had a lot of questions and he answered any questions that I had.
