Realtor Clayton here, your Real Estate Maestro, and today I want to share a market update of what's really going on in the San Diego market. First, we are back in a red-hot market. What that means is everybody that was on the fence and not buying last fall, they're in it moving and shaking and buying properties right now. So what that means is we have multiple offers on almost every house that hits the market.

Number two, interest rates. That's been on everybody's mind and a big part of the motivation of when to hop in the market and not, but right now interest rates are floating around in the mid 6es to 7%. That's really interesting because at that point when rates went up and hit that, the market froze, but this is becoming the new norm, and so people are getting used to making offers with that being the case with an anticipation that they might go down later on in the year.

Number three, inventory. We have really low inventory, so that means we have a lot of buyers and not a lot of sellers. Back to the fact of multiple offers, a lot of buyers descending on the same properties, and sellers are starting to make out like bandits again and sell their home for top dollars.
