Meet San Diego Realtor Alex Conti

Hi, I'm Alex Conti with the Whissel Realty Group here in San Diego. I'm originally from Northern California, where my parents began investing in real estate in the 1980s. After I graduated from high school, my summer project with my dad was to flip a townhome over the course of that summer. What I loved about that experience is it taught me a lot about the value of owning real estate.

Also, the myriad ways that you can utilize real estate as an asset. After that, I came down to San Diego to attend San Diego State University and graduated in 2009. While I was at school, I was part of the real estate society there and a great experience there was learning a lot about all different aspects of the industry before I was able to enter it. Since then, I've worked on a lot of different projects, whether it be traditional sales, investment properties, vacation rentals, land acquisitions, short sales, or foreclosures.

One fun fact about me is I'm very adventurous when it comes to food. In fact, a lot of times when we go out to eat, I will have the waiter surprise me. Other things I like to do in my free time are fishing, playing softball, taking my wife and daughter to the beach, or out on a boat. We really like to get out and enjoy San Diego and everything it has to offer. When I first meet people, I commonly hear them say that they've heard real estate, whether buying or selling, can be a stressful experience. I take pride in alleviating that stress for the people that I work with. In fact, I've built guides for buyers and sellers that walk them through every step of the process.

So they know what's going to happen before it does. And what I've found is it makes it more of an enjoyable experience and very much less stressful. What I love most about the job are the relationships that I've built and maintained along the way, with the people that I've helped buy or sell a home and achieve their real estate goals. So that was a little bit about me. I'm really looking forward to learning a little bit more about you.
