San Diego realtor Clayton Connolly shares his story about how he started his journey in real estate. Discuss how over the years his business has grown and adapted, to help meet the demands and needs of his clients.

How I Started My Real Estate Journey

Hi, I'm Clayton Connolly. I'm a husband. I'm a father of four. Yes, four amazing daughters. I have a dog, I have five chickens and I have a free-range gecko that runs around in the shutters in my kitchen. I've been a realtor since 2004, and the way I got into real estate is quite unconventional. In 2003, I bought my first house up in the mountains in Lake Arrowhead, and later on that year, I lost it. It was burned to the ground in a forest fire.

Now, the good news about that is that no one was hurt, and I was also praying for a sign of whether or not we should go or not, and that became quite evident once the house burned down. So with all that, we landed in San Diego with my wife's family in that area, and I had a new appreciation for housing and the importance of it, having gone through what I went through. That inspired me to get my real estate license and ultimately prepared me to begin helping others get through the process and ultimately have their own real estate story.

Now, 17 years later, My practice has evolved to much more than being a common realtor or just helping people buy and sell houses. These days, I really take pride in offering personal professional guidance. Now here's why? Real estate is not one size fits all. And it's been my experience that when we listened to you and deeply to your goals, wants, dreams, timeline, then we're able to put together a plan that fits you and your preferences and your family. Once, we have that in place, then we're able to walk that path out to your success.

I'm sure you'll agree that how and where we live determines the memories that we make and also the quality of our lives. With that said, I wanted to invite you to a personalized discovery session, where I get to hear more about what you want out of your real estate goals. And together we can discuss the possibilities. Reach out to me directly, and I'd love to put some time on the calendar and hear more about how I can help be part of that.

Hello, World!
